Tracking

Simtix Facility Guardian is continually monitoring the location of people and assets throughout the facility. This electronic monitoring combined with a sophisticated incident management system allows you to add rules that instruct Simtix Facility Guardian to alert you when specific events occur. The alerts can take many forms from lights and sirens, to updates of guards workstations, to the SMS’ing of a supervisor.

Many facilities and buildings contain especially sensitive areas that require higher levels of security. A specific floor of a building, for example, may contain a confidential documents store, or a special room may contain highly valuable assets. These sensitive areas need heightened security measures.

Simtix Facility Guardian is an advanced security system that allows you to protect and monitor these highly sensitive areas, using advanced surveillance, tracking and identity verification technologies. Best of all, the system often goes unnoticed.

Features: Simtix Facility Guardian allows you to monitor the precise location of people and assets in real time. You can use digital floor plans to see where every person and asset is located. Going beyond standard access control, Simtix Facility Guardian uses a combination of active RFID badges, biometric readers, man traps, and a sophisticated operating system to ensure that only authorized people and assets can enter or leave the zone. Within the zone, different areas can be protected by additional layers of security. The whole system is driven by sophisticated patent-pending software that allows you to create extensive rules and raise alarms when the rules are broken.

Configurable Rules: The rules supported by Simtix Facility Guardian are infinite, and you decide on what rules you want to enforce. here are a few examples: a visitor must always be accompanied by an employee, an asset can only leave the zone if the asset owner goes along with it, users must validate their identity at least once every 3 hours, no more than 4 people are allowed in Room 12 at any one time, and so on.

Benefits: You can be confident that you can control who can go where and when. Should an incident occur you can retrace digitally and know who was where. The system doesn't compete with you existing security measures, it provides extra lays for your truly sensitive areas.
