Logistics Coordinator

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring equipment and products arrive on schedule and cost effectively. The incumbent should be experienced in international shipping and logistics, local customs procedures and liaising with overseas suppliers. This position will be based in Amman Jordan. Primary responsibilities include the following:

• Shipping and transportation coordination
• Ensuring compliance with Company and local Government policies and procedure
• Planning the most economic utilization of Field Base Warehouse facilities for storing equipment/materials and the distribution of inventory
• Ensuring that all Procurement & Logistics documentation processes are transparent, with all documentation being available for audit
• Liaison with purchasing departments from 3rd party contractors
• Improving the ongoing services to the Company in terms of cost, quality and delivery from vendors for the required products and services to support Company Operations

On-Site (Project) Coordinator

Simtix participates in large deployments at major sites around the region such as border crossings, industrial complexes and large urban facilities. The incumbent in this position will temporarily relocate to a deployment site and will work closely with the customer and other contractors to ensure the smooth and timely deployment of our technologies. Positions are sought in various countries and states in the region, and the primary responsibilities include the following:

• Reports to Project manager, and oversees various deployment and commissioning activities including logistics, parts delivery and storage
• Managing and co-coordinating all aspects of designated projects
• Coordinates with other project stakeholders to insure Simtix’s needs are addressed, controls plans and progress
• Identifying and developing new prospects and projects
• Proactively coordinating projects and acting as central point of contact for the project team including client, facilitators, director, and project assistants
• Actively managing project contracts, finances and personnel to ensure projects are delivered within time & budget

Deployment Engineer

A Deployment Engineer is responsible for the installation, testing and commissioning of equipment in the field. Simtix will train and certify the incumbent in all of Simtix’s core technologies. The incumbent should be competent in low and high voltage electrical work, minor civil activities (such as post erection) and be able to work both independently and part of a team. Primary responsibilities are as follows:

• Installation of license plate recognition systems
• Installation if under vehicle scanning equipment
• Installation of traffic management equipment including lights, barriers, signs and blockers
• Completion of field tests and equipment maintenance
